I just booked the flight! So I guess its it’s a done thing then that I’m not going to be in Boston this august

Instead I’m visiting my family back in Portugal to relax, buy some stuff and to meet people I’ve been missing a lot, particularly my grandparents.
I’m not 21 yet, so it wouldn’t have made a lot of sense to attend to a conference where everyone is getting (legally) drunk every night. I’ll just attend to it next year.
Why I chose Porto instead of Boston
- I’m not staying a lot of time in Porto. One reason is my 20th birthday on the 22th of July that I want to celebrate on the 26th of July with my people. And after my birthday party weekend, I’m going to southern Switzerland, near to Italy chilling some time at a lake with a my girlfiend, a friend of mine and his gf. That is, if I can stand up after getting drunk the whole weekend
- The other reason is the fact that I’m only going to stay with my family in Portugal. They are already there and I’m visiting them. And even though I love my family, it gets boring after some days. Thats why I decided to just stay a few days.
- I’m a big FC Porto fan and they probably will have one game while I’m there. And I want to see them play at least one time a year.
Well, that’s everything. I’m taking the digital camera with me. So you are probably going to get some pictures of my journey and stay in Portugal.
